The percent of NSU students from minority populations has steadily risen from 21 percent in 1990 to 55 percent in 2010. Since 2010 the racial/ethnic composition of NSU students has remained relatively constant with approximately 55 percent from minority groups (Figures 9 and 10 and Tables 7 and 8). The largest proportion of minorities is represented among undergraduate students, with the greatest increase over the past five years in enrollment of Hispanic students (Table 7).
