134 NOVA SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY Personnel Nova Southeastern University’s educational mission is carried out by a mix of highly qualified and dedicated educators comprising full-time faculty members, adjunct professors, and employees earning supple- mental contract income as needed. At NSU, 83 percent of full-time faculty members hold a doctoral or other terminal degree. The university also has approximately 780 additional adjunct faculty members. Overall, the total number of full-time faculty and noninstructional staff members increased by nearly 300 from 2022 with a ratio of FTE students to the total of full-time faculty and noninstructional staff members of 5.4 to 1 (fall 2023).
