130 NOVA SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY University Students and Graduates n The university is ranked 9th for all United States institutions for the number of minority Master’s and Doctorate degree recipients among those degrees awarded in 2021–2022. n For fiscal year 2021–2022 (the most recent IPEDS data available), the university ranked 1st in first- professional/doctoral degrees awarded to all minority students and to Hispanic students, and 11th in graduate degrees awarded to Black/African American students. n Of all degrees awarded by Nova Southeastern University in 2022–2023, 73 percent were awarded to women. Close to half of all the degrees awarded were master’s degrees.
