Nova Southeastern University | 33 POSTDOCTORAL PROGRAMS TUITION AND FEES TUITION Tuition for 2021–2022 will be posted online at dental.nova.edu . All tuition and fees are subject to change by the board of trustees without notice. FEES Annual Fees • Health Professions Division General Access Fee—$145 • NSU Student Services Fee—$1,500 • Technology Fee—$500 Initial Acceptance/Preregistration Fee—$2,000 (Endodontics—$4,000) • Required to reserve the accepted applicant’s place in the entering first-year post- doctoral class • Deducted from the tuition payment due upon registration • Not refundable in the event of withdrawal • Payable within two weeks of an applicant’s acceptance First Semester’s Tuition and Fees • Total, less the $2,000 previously paid (Endodontics—$4,000) • Due on or before registration day Subsequent Semesters’ Tuition and fees • Due on or before the appropriate registration day Instrument Management Fee • Advanced Education in General Dentistry, Endodontics, Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Periodontology, Prosthodontics—$3,500–$5,000 (specific fee amount is dependent on the program) FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS NSU-CDM students will not be admitted until their financial obligations have been met. A commitment to meet financial responsibilities throughout all four years of training is important. These include tuition, living expenses, books, equipment, and miscellaneous expenses. INSURANCE REQUIREMENT Each NSU-CDM student is required to carry adequate personal medical and hospital insurance. Students may avail themselves of the hospitalization insurance plan obtain- able through the university.
