14 | Dental Medicine DOCTORAL PROGRAM APPLICATION PROCEDURES NSU uses the American Association of Dental Schools Application Service (AADSAS). AADSAS does not take part in student selection. Apply to the American Association of Dental Schools Application Service (AADSAS). Candidates may choose to either fill out an electronic application or download a paper application. 2. Send supporting documents listed below to AADSAS by November 15. • an AADSAS application • an official transcript from the registrar of each college or university in which the student was enrolled (mailed directly by the college to AADSAS) • evaluation forms • official Dental Admission Test (DAT) scores Transcripts can be sent electronically from the originating college/university to electronictranscripts@nova.edu. Upon receipt of the completed AADSAS application, NSU’s College of Dental Medicine will forward an online, secondary application to the applicant. 3. Submit supplemental materials to Nova Southeastern University by December 15. • a completed secondary application The supplementary application should be submitted electronically. If that is not possible, contact the dental admissions office at (954) 262-1108. • a nonrefundable application fee of $50 • supplemental updates and documents • an evaluation by a preprofessional health adviser or committee from the applicant’s undergraduate institution, if it was not previously sent to AADSAS If this evaluation cannot be provided, three individual letters of evaluation from undergraduate instructors (two science instructors and a liberal arts instructor), if they were not previously submitted to AADSAS, may be sent to NSU.
