Program orientation is behavioral/cognitive-behavioral. ✔ 21 hours (three days X 7 hours) Mandatory Training Sessions: Practicum candidate must complete background check and orientation (completed on computer and in person). Required Training Prerequisites: DEVELOPMENTAL DISABLITIES ROTATION: Practicum students should have experience with children and adolescents who have developmental disabilities (e.g., autism, intellectual disability [as well as more minor conditions such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity]) as well as application of behavior therapy, also be comfortable with work in hospital.
