Psychological conditions treated at NBI include Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Tourette’s syndrome, Trichotillomania, Body Dysmorphic Disorder, Hoarding, Body-focused Repetitive Behavior Disorders/Excoriation, Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Asperger’s, Attention Deficit (Hyperactivity) Disorder, and Impulse-Control Disorders. Services are provided for children, adolescents, adults, and families from our area as well as for patients traveling from other states and countries. NBI has intensive treatment programs that are available to meet the needs of those with severe or complex symptoms. Further, we offer comprehensive psychological assessments. We also periodically provide weeklong “treatment adventure” camps in Park City, Utah. NBI has staff members available who can provide treatment and assessments in Spanish and Portuguese. NBI offers parent training and a variety of treatment groups, as well as free support groups. NBI is an Institutional Member of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) and two of our clinicians (Hoffman & Moritz) are members of its Scientific & Clinical Advisory Board. The professional staff is composed of licensed doctoral-level Psychologists and Postdoctoral Fellows (NBI has an APPIC-approved Postdoctoral Program). NBI staff presents at numerous local, national, and international conferences and, among them, have published a number of books and articles related to their areas of practice.
