Number of hours per week required: DESCRIBE SPECIFIC SITE REQUIREMENTS: SHORT PROGRAM DESCRIPTION (250 words or less): CLINICAL DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM Client Population(s): Treatment Modality: Assessment Types: Theoretical Orientation: Specializing in behavioral health/medicine, we work with a diverse population of individuals, couples, families, and groups, in the assessment and treatment of a vast array of disorders and difficulties. We serve ethnically diverse adolescents and adult patients, working with approximately 35% GLBTQ clients. All services are outpatient. Staff works with diagnosis and treatment of depression, anxiety, substance abuse, trauma, personality disorders, eating disorders, weight loss, learning disabilities, AD/HD, and career assessment. Most interventions are cognitive-behavioral; however, we use different treatment modalities as appropriate to fit patient needs. Student experience will be broad with flexibility to gain experience in individual, group, and couple therapy. Students will also gain experience in psychological testing, assessment, treatment planning, and community outreach. Students are responsible for developing and executing two outreach projects during the practicum placement. 10 hours-20 hours Mandatory Training Sessions: Electronic Documentation training (on-site). Attendance at specific meetings: Group and Individual Supervision Other requirements: Occasional Friday or Saturday therapy trainings List specific evening hours required: Some groups are from 6-7 pm # Direct clinical contact hours/week: 1st Year practicum: 5-7 hours; 2nd year 7-10 hours Supervision Requirements (e.g., individual, group, time, day): Individual and group (individual times are flexible).
