Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine (KPCOM)—Department of Nutrition 2021–2022 301 The transcript includes • grades earned (including remediated failures) • deficiencies (incompletes, failures, etc.) • semester GPA and cumulative GPA • honors • withdrawal and/or leaves of absence • notations of concentrations, if applicable A student is considered in good academic standing when he or she is not on administrative leave of absence, probation, or dismissal and also has a grade point average (GPA) equal to or greater than 3.0. Students with a GPA of less than 3.0 will be placed on probation and not considered in good academic standing. A student who is not in good academic standing is at risk of not graduating. 1. Student Grades Most courses are graded based on letter grades A through F . Some courses may be graded on a Pass/ Fail ( P/F ) basis.
