n May 23, a number of NSU-COM
faculty members, in collaboration
with other NSU faculty researchers,
were awarded cash endowments in
the university’s 13
th
Annual Presi-
dent’s Faculty Research and Develop-
ment Grant (CFRDG) program and
the Quality of Life Grant program,
which were created in 1999 to provide
funding to faculty members in their
efforts to secure additional resources
for research activities. Each spring,
awards of up to $10,000 are provided
to full-time faculty members based
on the quality of their applications.
