minesweeper ships. He pre-
sented the findings at a North
Atlantic Treaty Organization
international medical confer-
ence in Marseille, France, and
is scheduled to speak about the
case at the American Occupa-
tional Health Conference in
Baltimore, Maryland, in May.

peared in the December 26

Untold Stories of
the ER
entitled “Over-Juiced”
about an iodine-induced
thyroid disorder. This marked
the fourth time Dr. Cymet has
been featured on an episode
of the program, which is

demonstration on the ben-
efits of utilizing osteopathic
manipulative treatment on an

The Dr. Oz Show
that focused on “Pain Solu-
tions Without Taking a Pill.”

appointed as medical director
of the Portsmouth Regional
Hospital Emergency Depart-
ment located in Portsmouth,
New Hampshire.
Jeremy Ingram, D.O.
(’07) accepted a full-time posi-
tion with Lee Physician Group
Emergency Medicine Physi-
cians in Fort Myers, Florida.
In this role, he works for the
Lee Memorial Health System
at Healthpark Medical Center
and Lee Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Ingram also works as
a part-time clinical faculty
member at the University of
Florida College of Medicine
in Jacksonville.

(’04) recently accepted a posi-
tion as medical director for the

ciated with Palo Pinto Hospital
in Mineral Wells, Texas. She

Daniel McBath, D.O.,

(’90) passed away
ALUMNI CORNER
suddenly on February 23 at
the age of 53. His devotion to
his alma mater was evidenced
in 1995 when Dr. McBath be-
came the inaugural president
of the NSU-COM Alumni
Association. He also served
as president of the Florida
Society of the American Col-
lege of Osteopathic Family
Physicians in 1999-2000 and
was a past president of the
Pasco County Osteopathic
Medical Association.
Richard John Presutti,
D.O.
(’93) was named chief
executive officer of the Mayo
Clinic Health System in Way-
cross, Georgia. Dr. Presutti,
who has been affiliated with the
Mayo Clinic since 1997, previ-
ously served as chair of the
Division of Regional Medicine
in the Department of Family
Medicine at Mayo Clinic’s
Jacksonville, Florida, campus.

Association 2015-16 Executive
