The process of getting through school is stressful. People can become very vulnerable and overwhelmed. Connecting with someone during times of high stress makes for a unique memory that is hard to describe.” Words of Wisdom “My best advice is to tell people they are not alone and not without purpose. Since my childhood, I have always been observant. I pay attention to the little details and keep myself open to all possibilities. In living this way, I have had many experiences that have proven to me that we’re not on some random path, so keep your head up. Everything will work out.” Right, from left: Music is medicine for bandmates and classmates Marc Macaluso (bass guitar), Patrick Hart- man (drums), Christopher Larrimore (guitar), and Daniel Nery (keyboard), who formed a rock band during their first two years of medical school to relieve stress and improve their clinical skills.
