I am ready to take on gamification needs through eLearning activities. We have developed numerous activities through Articulate Storyline, Captivate, and iSpring which offer the tools necessary to create interactive experiences, such as branched decision-making or virtual escape rooms. Through Quality Matters certification, I am prepared to ensure standards are met and that courses and activities follow design and accessibility guidelines. |

Please feel free to communicate with me to ask questions and collaborate on designing innovative ways to learn. As an Instructional Designer, I conceptualize instructional graphics, multimedia, and the user interface for learning activities and online courses. I research learning theories and instructional design strategies to recommend and provide a rationale for the selection of an instructional approach. I’m also Quality Matters (QM) certified in applying the Quality Matters rubric to online course design. I will work with you to design and develop supporting materials and resources that incorporate accessible multimedia in various formats (audio, video, simulations, scenario-based learning) using Camtasia, Captivate, Articulate, Photoshop, Illustrator, Office 365, HTML, and other technologies. |

"Working with the instructional design team to create a VR simulation of a space mission has been an invaluable experience that has transformed my course on space exploration. I believe that it will dramatically increase engagement in the classroom and give students a unique perspective that textbooks alone simply cannot provide."

"I am incredibly grateful for the dedicated help and support I have received from NSU's instructional design team. The process was super easy to set up the initial meeting and [the designer] has been incredibly responsive and knowledgeable to help me redesign and create new courses for the Tampa DPT program while incorporating best practices in teaching and curricular design. A student in one of these courses remarked that, "this class is the most organized and easy to navigate class that I have taken in the program thus far and I truly appreciate the work that goes into making that possible."

Despite teaching for 15 years, I feel that I am always learning. ...I believe it is important for us to connect with our students socially and meet them at their level. There are many underexplored features ... that the NSU Instructional Design team have helped me tinker with. With their assistance, I try to make my virtual and physical classroom environments more interactive, accessible, and dynamic. The instructional designers at NSU have been extremely supportive in making my first year at the university a smooth(er) experience. Thank you instructional design team @DesignLink: I am grateful for your support in formulating my course objectives, learning activities, and assessments so that they align with our accreditation standards and program outcomes.
