This memorable ceremony on January 31, 2025 will mark the official beginning of a new chapter in our university's history. The event will celebrate NSU's rich legacy while looking forward to a future filled with great promise. Join us for the formal installation of our new leader and hear his inspiring vision for NSU in an inaugural address.

An investiture, a longstanding academic tradition, marks a pivotal moment for the university. It honors the institution's history while ushering in a new era of leadership. Similar to commencement, the ceremony features a procession of faculty in regalia and welcomes distinguished guests. It includes the presentation of the presidential medallion and an address by the incoming president.

President-elect Dr. Harry K. Moon is the university's executive vice president and chief operating officer. An internationally renowned reconstructive and plastic surgeon, he has had a distinguished medical career and has been instrumental in the development of medical, research, and educational programs in South Florida for the past quarter century.
