This module discusses importance of sleep in older adults among persons with dementia.
SWETA TEWARY, Ph.D., MSW. MS is an assistant professor in Department of Geriatrics at NSU, Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine, and the Administrative Project Director of the HRSA funded Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program and COVID-19. She is an experienced health care professional with specific training in the field of teaching, healthcare, and technology. She has worked on multiple grants funded through PCORI, Children’s Trust, HRSA, and Retirement Research foundation. Most of her work involved developing program evaluations, measurements, identifying data trends, opportunities for program services improvement, make recommendations for future funding opportunities to enhance services; use data to explore and develop sustainability, and collaborating with health care providers for the project implementation. Dr. Tewary has been involved with multiple projects with innovative outcomes that have led to organizations success. Some of her strengths are (a) designing evaluation protocols (b) conducting statistical analysis to employ the best available data using appropriate social science research techniques, (c) curriculum development, and (d) developing quality improvement measures.
