We offer a comprehensive range of resources, from career services to child care support, academic assistance, and health services. Veteran Child Care Services

The Marilyn Segal Early Childhood Studies Center recognizes the unique challenges experienced by military families. Our Veteran Child Care Services assist families with deployed parents so children of veterans receive the care and resources they need.

Our Services Include:

  • Preschool Tuition Waiver
  • Parent Support Programs
  • Children's Bereavement Center

Veteran Health and Well-being Services

When it comes to your health and well-being, trust matters. We take pride in extending many of our services, including mental health, optometry, dental, and hearing care, to address the unique needs of veterans and their families, all provided at little or no charge.

NSU’s Student Disability Services provides personalized accommodations and support to students with documented disabilities under federal and state regulations.

Student-Veteran Organizations

NSU offers student organizations specifically dedicated to veterans and military-affiliated students. These organizations provide a supportive community for like-minded individuals with similar experiences.

The NSVA is an undergraduate organization that aims to assist new student-veterans in adapting to college life. They actively participate in student orientation, help connect students to the existing university support systems, and work to increase the visibility of veterans on campus.

Affiliated with the American Psychological Association Division 19, this student-run organization aims to provide education, research, and clinical training related to military psychology.
