What is Dual Admission?

Dual Admission is a Premier Program pioneered by NSU for a select group of highly-motivated students who have maintained a laser focus on their career goals from an early age. As a qualified student in the Dual Admission program, you're automatically reserved a seat in one of NSU's graduate or professional schools while you earn your bachelor's degree. In today's competitive world, that's like getting a head start on the rest of your life.

Who is Eligible to Apply?

All Dual Admission applicants must apply to the university prior to review of supplemental applications for the Dual Admission Program. All supplemental application materials (test scores, letters of recommendation, essay, transcripts) must be received prior to Dual Admission application review.  You may apply for a Dual Admission program by:
(1) submitting an application for admission to NSU at www.nova.edu/UndergradApply and indicating a Dual Admission program as your major
(2) submitting a Shark Preview Premier Programs Application at www.nova.edu/SharkPreview and completing the section for Dual Admission. Submit the application online or email the PDF document to sharkpreview@nova.edu

Each Dual Admission major is unique and has its own eligibility requirements. For Dual Admission programs in the health professions, only freshmen applicants are eligible to apply.

When are the Deadlines?

For fall semester applicants:  January 1, 2016
For winter semester applicants: November 1 (Only a limited number of Dual Admission programs offer a winter semester start.)

All candidates submitting completed applications by the deadline will be considered.  We encourage all freshman applicants interested in the Dual Admission Program to apply early in the start of their high school senior year to meet all necessary deadlines.
