Psychological Services for the Emotionally Distressed

We treat individuals who may exhibit symptoms such as depression, mania, delusions, hallucinations, flat affect, poor social development, lack of self-care, social isolation or withdrawal, peculiar behavior, or odd beliefs.

Our program, located at the Psychological Services Center in Nova Southeastern University's Maltz Psychology Building, serves individuals ranging in age from 4 to adulthood who exhibit some manifestation of a thought or mood disorder and demonstrate serious emotional disturbance consistent with a diagnosis of any psychotic disorder or major affective disorder with psychotic features.
