Official academic transcripts can be ordered online through Parchment, SharkLink, by mail, fax, or in person. Current students and alumni may view unofficial academic transcripts through SharkLink.

While it is the State of Florida and not the university that issues the Apostille, NSU can assist by providing notarized copies of transcripts and/or diplomas for students seeking the Apostille seal.
Students who have completed 90 percent of their degree requirements will be sent an automated Diploma Name and Address Verification email. Degrees are automatically conferred once a student has completed 100 percent of all degree requirements, unless deferment is approved by the program office.
All degrees are conferred on the last day of the month in which the advisor approves the degree application. If there are no holds, diplomas and certificates are mailed within six to eight weeks.
Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) affords students and alumni certain rights with respect to their education records.
Nova Southeastern University does not mail grades to students. Once a grade is posted, an email is sent to the student’s NSU email account with instruction on how to view grades in SharkLink.
Loan Deferments, Enrollment, and Degree Verification / Student Self-Service
To conveniently serve Nova Southeastern University students and the business community, NSU has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to act as its agent for providing enrollment and degree verifications. Students and alumni may access the Clearinghouse via SharkLink.
The SharkCard is the official Nova Southeastern University identification card. All students, faculty, and staff are required to carry the SharkCard for identification purposes.
Registration can be completed for most programs through SharkLink. Prior to registration, all students must agree to the terms in the Student Enrollment Agreement (SEA) once a year.
Student Record Updates (Updating your name, address, and more)
Students can update their address, personal email, and telephone number in SharkLink at any time. To request an official change to your name, date of birth, marital status, Social Security Number, gender, and more, submit a Data Change Form along with supporting documentation.
The Student Right-to-Know Act requires institutions such as NSU that are eligible for Title IV funding to disclose certain information on graduation rates and enrollment to current and potential students.
