Jennifer LashAdministrative Assistant for In-House Admissions

Primary Responsibilities

As the administrative assistant of in-house admissions, my primary responsibilities include assisting incoming students with the application process and addressing their questions and concerns. I also conduct tour of the Oceanographic Center facilities and laboratories.

Other Center Duties

My other duties include assisting in coordinating incoming student events, recruitment, course setup, and registration. I serve as a committee member on the Administrative Student Services Council and the Future Opportunities sub-committee.

I am also the contact for student employment paperwork and processing.

Academic Area of Interest

I am a Master's student in the Marine Biology program. My thesis research includes a comparative study of vascular corrosion casting of the spiral valve in the Siberian Sturgeon (Acipenser baerii) and North American Paddlefish (Polyodon spathula) to the Subclass Elasmobranchii.
