The Center for Veterans Assistance at Nova Southeastern University in partnership with the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 8195, Stone of Hope Project and Mission United, and with funding provided by the United Way of Broward County offers free counseling and assessment services to active duty service members, veterans and their families.
Who We Serve
NSU’s Center for Veterans Assistance is committed to helping active-duty service members, veterans, and their families access needed services on campus and in the community. With funding from United Way of Broward County and in partnership with Mission United, all active-duty service members, veterans, and their family members are eligible for services free of charge. Available services include free mental health counseling, family therapy, and psychological/psychoeducational testing for active duty service members, veterans and their family members.
