In the last century, advancements in aviation have led to dramatic safety improvements for aircraft systems, speeds, and maneuvering capabilities. In addition, collaboration and cooperation are consistent goals and recognized strengths of the aviation community. To keep pace with regional expansion and progress, ICAO RASG-PA and Nova Southeastern University are welcoming aviation professionals of all levels to participate in the second RASG-PA Aviation Safety Seminar 2014. The event will focus on the development and implementation of aviation safety enhancement initiatives for the Pan American Region to mitigate the foremost risk areas, including Runway Excursions (REs), Controlled Flight Into Terrain (CFIT), Loss of Control In-flight (LOC-I) and Mid Air Collisions (MAC).
