Road to Child Outcomes-Early Learning Coalition of Broward County
Funding: Early Learning Coalition of Broward County
The goal of this project is to provide early childhood programs serving a majority of school readiness children in s Broward County communities with the pedagogical skills that have been proven by research to directly impact child outcomes-particularly children from high-need communities.

Postdoctoral Training in General, Pediatric and Public Health Dentistry and Dental Hygiene, funded by HRSA and in collaboration with the Dental School. The goal of this grant is to provide training for pediatric dental residents on treating children with autism spectrum disorder.

Child Care Training Coordination, funded through Florida Department of Children and Families. The goal of this contract is to provide caregivers with a better understanding of how to detect and report child abuse and how to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.

Child Outcomes Study- Palm Beach County
Funding: Children's Services Council and Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County
Primary agency: Rutgers University
The goal of this study was to evaluate the different early childhood models, funding and support sources in Palm Beach County as they predict children's developmental and academic success at the completion of preschool and kindergarten.

Healthy Beginnings Two – Broward County
Funding: A.D. Henderson Foundation, Inc.
The goal of this intervention project was to promote and support a team-based approach among parents/guardians and child care staff to support children's healthy growth and development. Through thought-provoking, research-based training and discussion sessions parents/guardians and child care staff learn how to provide sensitive, responsive, consistent care to young children and thereby how to foster strong socio-emotional development.

Building Literacy
Funding: U.S. Department of Education- Early reading First Grant, in collaboration with Broward County Public Schools
The goal of this grant was to provide support for enhancing preschool age children's early literacy skills, including changes in the classroom, curricular activities, and teacher technical support.

ELC 3 Quality Improvement Supports
Funding: School Board of Broward County and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services- Early Learning Coalition
The goal of this contract was to provide mentors who will offer technical assistance and support to child-care centers to go through the Quality Improvement Rating Systems (QRIS).
