M.S. in Education | Autism Endorsement Program
The Fischler School of Education draws on the high level of autism expertise at Mailman Segal Center for Human Development in a collaborative effort to provide a 4-course master's series in autism. The autism endorsement program is designed for practicing educators with a certification in special education who are working with children diagnosed with autism. The program focuses on understanding the needs, assessment, and intervention of students with autism spectrum disorders. The courses in the program meet the Florida Department of Education's requirements for an endorsement in autism and can only be added on to a teaching certificate in any exceptional student education area. These courses can be taken as a nonmatriculated student or as part of an M.S. in Education degree. Courses are offered completely online.
