Wireless Setup for Android

To access 1NSU wireless network follow these steps: 

  1. Select and Enable your Wi-Fi on your device.  
  2. Tap the network “1NSU.”
  • Settings (Your device may not require all of the settings included below):
  • EAP method: PEAP Phase 2
  • Authentication: None (if available) or MSCHAPV2 CA
  • Certificate: Unspecified (only option)
  • Client Certificate: Unspecified (only option)
  • Identity: (your Sharklink ID username without @nova.edu)
  • Anonymous Identity: leave blank
  • Wireless Password: (Your password for Sharklink ID)

The first time you connect, you will be asked to accept the server’s certificate, clearpass.nova.edu.  Click “Trust” in the upper-right-hand corner.

Note: You will only need to accept the certificate the first time you authenticate to “1NSU”. After that, authentication will be automatic.

Forget Wireless Network in Android

Forgetting wireless networks allow your computer to reset some settings, such as usernames, passwords, or configurations that allow you to connect automatically. Follow the instructions below to learn how to forget a wireless network in Android devices.

  1. Select System Settings/Settings on your handset
  2. Select Wi-Fi settings
  3. Select the listed network you want to forget. (NSU: the older network name)
  4. Choose the Forget option
