Claudia Hoffman-Hodge, M.S.T.E

Mrs. Hoffman-Hodge brings to Nova Southeastern University SW Florida PA Program, a diverse background of education, marketing, training, coaching and business. Originally from Ohio, Ms. Hoffman-Hodge received her Bachelor of Arts in English from Youngstown State University, a Masters in Technical Education from the University of Akron and has done doctoral research in the areas curriculum design, adult learning strategies, gerontology and career development. Ms. Hoffman-Hodge taught at the University of Akron in both the College of Education and the College of Fine and Applied Arts. She launched her own company, CHH and Associates, to provide mentoring, coaching and consulting to businesses and individuals in the area of personal and professional development.
As a professional speaker, recruiter and entrepreneur, she has presented workshops in the areas of positive aging, adult children coping with aging parents, and dealing with stress through empowerment in her position. As Coordinator of Campus and Residential Life for The Ohio Presbyterian Community, Rockynol, and as Director of Interfaith Caregivers of Summit County, she extended the community's knowledge of and commitment to elder care, volunteerism and life-long education. Hoffman-Hodge has been a guest writer for several newspapers directed to focusing on the older adult population.
