Assistant Professor

Kay CaseProfessor Case is from a small community in NW Wisconsin. She attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology. Professor Case has 26 years experience in Hematology and immunology as a medical technologist and researcher. She has published 13 peer reviewed journal articles on Lyme disease and LaCrosse encephalitis. She conducted a 10 year research study on LaCrosse encephalitis and the HLA system. She has lectured for the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants (FAPA) summer and winter symposiums as well as internationally to include Oxford University.

Professor Case is a graduate of the UW-LaCrosse/Mayo Clinic PA Program and has worked in a variety of specialties to include Internal Medicine, ENT, and Family Practice and Plastic Surgery. She is the course director for the Clinical Laboratory Medicine, and Clinical Procedures/Surgical Skills Courses, and co-director of the Master's Graduate Project. She is an active member of FAPA and serves as the Collier County Area Representative.
