Sue Ryan, PA-C Sue Ryan, MPAS, RN

Professor Ryan has been with the faculty at NSU since 2009. She has enjoyed being an integral part of the faculty. Her extensive clinical experience and her love of learning are now passed on to her students. Teaching has been a lifelong passion.

Professor Ryan graduated from Stony Brook University, New York in 2001 and relocated shortly thereafter to Florida. Her 11 years of clinical experiences include: Occupational Medicine, Pain Management, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Family Practice and Urgent Care.

Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, Professor Ryan was a Registered Nurse for many years and worked in a variety of settings. Her desire to do more for her patients led her to pursue a Physician Assistant career.

She teaches several of the courses in the program and is currently enrolled in the Doctoral program here at NSU.

She is the proud mom to 2 outstanding children and is delighted that they are also pursuing advanced academic degrees.
