Erika Bell, MSSM, MPAS, PA-C
Professor Bell joined Nova Southeastern University, Orlando Physician Assistant Program as a full time faculty member in November 2010. Prior to that, she worked as a Physician Assistant in rural areas of Florida for over ten years in Family Practice, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, and Dermatology. She has participated in numerous volunteer events as a medical provider including indigent patient care and "Sports Physical Days" to help provide screening for students who may not otherwise be able to participate in school sports programs.
Ms. Bell graduated from the University of Florida Physician Assistant Program and had previously earned a Masters of Science in Systems Management degree from the University of Southern California. Her professional affiliations include Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA member), American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA fellow), Florida Academy of Physician Assistants (FAPA member), Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA fellow), and Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (FSDPA member). She was an invited speaker at the FAPA 2012 Winter Symposium.
She enjoys camping and travelling with her two children as time allows in their busy schedules. The continuous pursuit of learning and knowledge along with a love and dedication for the PA profession adds to the positive attitude Professor Bell brings to the classroom and curriculum.
