Dr. Feldman joined the Nova Southeastern University Physician Assistant Program in January 2002. Prior to that he had spent four years on the faculty of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine teaching medical students, residents and renal fellows followed by 24 years of private practice in Internal Medicine and Nephrology in Hollywood, FL.

Dr. Feldman is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. His postgraduate residencies in Internal Medicine were at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and at Duke University Medical Center. He then received fellowship training in Nephrology at the University of Pennsylvania. Between his residency and fellowship training, he served for two years in the military at Womack Army Hospital in Fort Bragg., N.C.

He is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.

He is an author of 21 publications and has been an invited speaker at the annual sessions of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, CME at the Beach and the National Kidney Foundation. He is on the Editorial Board of the Internet Journal of Allied Health Sciences and Practice and reviews manuscripts for the Annals of Internal Medicine.

Within the Physician Assistant Program, he serves on the Testing and Admissions Committees.

He has a strong interest in innovative teaching methods, including the use of technology teaching tools in the classroom. His nonacademic interests include travel, photography, music and skiing.
