Why I Support the NSU Fund
Colin Millar has been a member of the NSU family since 2006. As a supervisor at NSU's call center, he manages a team of individuals who traffic incoming calls from current and prospective students, as well as alumni, to the appropriate school or center.
Millar's journey to NSU is one that begins literally across the country in Seattle, Washington, where he resided for five years prior to relocating to South Florida. While working at the university, he decided to continue his education and enrolled in the M.B.A. program. Millar (M.B.A. '11) is grateful for NSU's employee Tuition Assistance program, which enabled him to get his degree without the financial burden.
Millar contributes to the NSU Fund because of his belief in the university's Vision 2020. He says, "As part of our university community, I truly am NSU and want to take us to the next level. I feel it is my duty to give back and enhance the NSU experience for current and future students."
He continues, "In giving, I hope to lead by example. Supporting our university, through whatever we can afford, is an important part of being an NSU employee. By donating to the NSU Fund, we are providing opportunities to students who need funds to advance their own pursuits."
